good, really picks up about halfway through. sounds like the
type of thing you could make several interesting variations
on, for like a concept album or something.

Pilot woman with weave.

bang up editing job.Instant classic.

I just realized that she is the black Jan Terri. Like a
phoenix rising from the ashes, a little part of me is killed
and reborn each time she goes flat on the high notes.

Maxine 'pardon me' Swaby ~V~ Jan'get down goblin'Terry.

Maxine was featured in her living room,Derby Train Station
and a grass verge and steps somewhere in the west midlands
AND STILL totally outglammed and outhammed Jan.

I really wish I didn't listen to it, now. Her shrill
voice gets to me, much like mopeds. The last "know" on the
song is so drastically off-key it makes me wince.

Also Maxines weapon of choice(besides the singing )looks
like a Bontempi.
That would trump Jan even if the bitch had a moog.

I've pieced together the plot of the video.

Maxine is actually in mourning, having had lost her
husband/lover/autotune the summer before in a plane crash.
Maxine was supposed to co-pilot the fated plane, but says
herself that she "didn't want to go", as she is also a
psychic, and fortold the event - and she just "wants to let
him know" that she wishes she died with him.

It explains the abitrary church scene, and her stroking the
photograph.

Im not reading any explanation as to why she has mock tudor
beams and faux leaded windows.

To be fair, I think it was Jan "Goblin" Terri who originally
had used the arbitrary airplane scenes to stunning effect in
"Losing You", making Maxine Swaby a pale imitator by
comparison. Maxine does have the stewardess get-up on her
side, though, which makes her use of airplanes slightly less
dictatorial. Stalemate!

sounds nice. not too dramatic, either, and good length since
it doesn't change too much. all that's made in 'symphobia',
i assume?

does anyone else get that thing when music is just the right
kind of badly sung you want to hear them over and over?

It's got a semi-penetrating melody, which is the worst -
it's not so catchy as to be the thing to be hardwired to
your lobes like the Chicken Dance, but it'll keep you
returning to the video, because you've forgotten the melody
and how awful the sound of a human drill is.

I personally enjoyed that PhilCollinsCat explains that both
the song and video are intended to be dark.... Which is why
they show him in a blue sky and on a tropical beach. DARK,
maaaan.
