i need YOU to test a little script which compiles some java
and then runs it, nothing fancy.

if you're on a Mac, download this file. (should
work on Linux too, untested)
if you're on a PC, download this file.

why you? cause i want to test if my program will run on
random computers.

i assure you it is harmless.

inside the zip will be:
a file Mother.jar
a folder Mother_lib

for this to work, Mother.jar and Mother_lib need to be in
the same folder.

double click Mother.jar

if all goes well, an app will launch, if you follow the
instructions it will close itself and create a child app,
which will then open and create new children etc...

if not, post what happened please.

thank you

thanks..

does a cmd-prompt window stay open?
if not, there should be a generated file "runP5.bat" in
Mother_lib... should open a command window when double
clicked...
can you paste the text inside it?
(if you can't copy the txt... does it say something a la
"'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external
command."?)

V2 update

there's two protoype apps:
LAZY_GRIDDER and LAZY_MASTER

inside the zips are executables for each Win, OSX and
Linux.

Gridder is just a visual… you can scale by
moving the mouse left<->right. it should morph around and
look like this… hopefully.

in Master you can toss windows around by click, drag and
release. right click to make a new window.

i'd be happy if you could just run tell me if they worked.
If you'd take a couple screenshots (specially on Windows)
would be awesome. i need to see if they do okay outside my
machine...
