Maybe just a good lump of Blu-Tack or something
similar on the head shell elusive?

You could add and subtract until you get the perfect weight.

try a technics counterweight, if you have a mate with a
technics 1200/1210 you could ask if you could lend one to
try out / steal it

Just don't be like those pikey kids who steal them from
record shops.
Looks the same as the one on my 1210s but I guess the devil
is in the detail. Perhaps ebay has such things(?)

Good morrow elusive! I trust you are well?

What exciting music are you looking forward to playing on
your turntable once you get your weight issues sorted?

i can play them now - but my cuonter-weight is a hacked
together contraption made of taped starburst fruit candies.

it works - but accuracy isn't the best. and i dont want to
damage the records/too much weight on the needle.

plus, everytime i play a record i want to eat em'

I like this new trend.

I saw a piece tonight on Newsnight about how positive
thinking is bad. Nice to see how you're ahead of the crowd,
no where did I leave my half empty glass...
