Dont we have xltronic charts or something? Tell me what is
your best album for 2009?Actually it was a sad year imo..Not
really great albums have been released..but maybe I didn't
listen much new music because I've been pretty busy. I
wonder what you think.

For me personaly the best album was:

Venetian Snares - Filth

i liked alva noto xerrox vol 2 and tim hecker - an imaginary
country, but none of them really scream out 'best of 2009'

i guess i liked my own release
coax - the third mobius

Quite possibly Vitalic's 'Flashmob' ..However there's been
lots of great releases again this year.

Oneohtrix Point Never - Rifts

Even if it is just a compilation of previously released
tracks, it's still fantastic. all in all, it's been a pretty
poor year for new music. A few good singles/12" releases
have been more exciting than new albums this year for me.

I like Fever Ray's album, but it's never been as powerful as
the first time I heard it very low without hearing the
lyrics. Still, very good. I also like Flight of the
Conchord's "I told you I was freaky" ("Too many dicks (on
the dancefloor)", "Fashion is Danger", "We're Both in Love
with a Sexy Lady", "You don't have to be a prostitute",
hell, all of them really)

Much like panda bears 'person pitch',the Animal
Collective~Merriweather Post Pavilion has grown on me,but I
think,in all fairness, contenders for best album this year
have been scant .

What else was there?

Biosphere live album.

Depeche Mode album that I haven't listened to much.

Laurent Garnier that I've listened to once.

Throbbing Gristle.

I have barely listened to these albums. It's just time, I
think.
