Any good earth music?

Stuff that sounds like Edgar Varese or Acoustica's version
of 'Cliffs'.

I'm in need of some avant gardian goodness. Some earthly
wooded randomness. Doesn't have to be new. But i don't
solely like ethnic genre music like Gamelan and others, just
innovative purely musical goodness.

any suggestions

yeah i love it but his music gets kind of cold and sterile
sounding. I'm more into music right now that's either full
of life or crazy non-sensical.

I don't know about earth music, but give Geinoh
Yamashirogumi a listen. Especially 'Ecophony Rinne' and
'Ecophony Gaia'.

"Created by over 200 performers the music has a distincly
East Asian flavour- Japanese shomyo type buddhist chants,
Japanese drums, Balinese gamelan, Noh music, Tibetan
percussion, together with synthesizers adding dynamic and
dramatic effects." - farside music

Is Akio Suzuki good earth music? Some would say no. Why
don't you decide?

Lawrence English might also be worth a look. I think 'Kiri
No Oto' was made on Earth.

it's good but too much middleeastern.

i basically like the styles of these two songs:

Alarm Will Sound: Blue Clax
Squarepusher: gong acid

Squarepusher song is very gamelan influenced, which I
believe is an Indonesian style.

Try hang drum

The first one reminded me of a Fourtet song I've got on
vinyl. Can't think of the name, will dig it out tomorrow.
