i recognized the sounds it cos i've tried too
it must be pretty cool to compose that way (with sounds made from scratch) you visualize the elements and put them in music in a few. whats with the drums collisions and repeats, is there a lot of audio editing behind or?
thanks for sharing

cheers
the drums are nithonat. I'm triggering the pattern in bars and then 1/64ths and 1/32nds. There are two types of delay on the drums, one rhythmically tied to the beat and a splashy one for the snare. There's no audio editing , just midi edits and automation on the synced delay. Also drum mutes, HP filter on the DX7 (pads) and chorus on the '303'

sounds a bit like you have the 'int. sync' LED on (top left on nithonat).

actually it's probably just the 'swing' in nithonat isn't it?

i can't check cos i'm at work atmo, but i'm quite sure it's not the internal sync to be activated, nithonat is synced with the song tempo (120 bpm) with the internal sequencer and the host mode active. the out of sync feel of the pad (VOPM) and the squelch is intentional, no swing.
i have a question, did you make the acid bass from scratch like cwnt suggested for the white noise? may i ask how if i'm not too nosey? mine is made out of the classic acid bass preset in Phoscyon, tuned and doubled in the last part.
thanks for your interest :)
