I am 24 and am told I am intelligent, pretty, loving and fun. I have a good job, a variety of interests and socialise with a diverse range of people, but I have never had a boyfriend. When I was 17, I became a Christian and I feel quite strongly that it is God's will that I marry a Christian, but no Christian man has ever asked me out. I am constantly asked out by non-Christians, several of whom I am attracted to and who would logically make good partners as they have compatible personalities and share common interests and goals. I don't believe in sex before marriage, but this does not mean I do not have sexual desires. I am finding it hard to wait, especially as all my non-Christian friends and even some Christian ones have not. I am lonely and feel torn. What should I do?

Think about the consequences of her behaviour. Everyone tiptoes around her, terrified of causing a fight. You spend lots of time comforting and placating her - no wonder she is "sensitive". She is manipulating you all, even if not consciously. She is making herself the centre of attention by having what amounts to tantrums.
I urge you not to continue to try to reassure your mother. You will never give her a more "robust heart". By opting out, your siblings are treating her as an adult and you should do the same.

The turn of the seasons from summer to autumn means different things depending on where one lives. In the Midwest, the transition is from searing hot temperatures with life-sapping high humidity to a more temperate climate. In the South, it means cooler nights and fewer violent thunderstorms. On the Pacific Northwest coast, it means rain...copious amounts of rain.

I broke up from a relationship a year ago and feel pessimistic about my chances of finding the right person. I think one underlying issue is my ethnicity. I'm from an ethnic minority (south Asian), but I am fair-skinned, so people don't immediately realise where I'm from. I have had a liberal upbringing, whereby I can choose my own boyfriends. However, I only seem to attract men who fetishise exotic-looking women. I have been in a few mixed-race relationships, and I feel my ex saw me as something exotic, someone who'd be submissive rather than studious, independent and intelligent. As I am approaching the age when men seem to want to size me up in terms of long-term potential, I sense I score highly to start with, but when they learn about my ethnicity and values, they are put off. And men from my own ethnic group find me too anglicised. I'm studying in London, which I thought was meant to be the most diverse city in the world, but it seems that for some men being with a girl who is British but not ashamed of her background is taboo.

"I feel quite strongly that it is God's will that I marry a Christian"
No you don't, you're doing what other people have TOLD you to feel. In fact, reading your post, you are fighting and resisting all your natural feelings, which is causing you untold grief, misery and confusion.
Drop your ideological beliefs, based on nothing. Take life at face value, don't live it through books, mantras, culture and tradition, all of which is meaningless.
Get away from those who insist on manipulating you to reinforce their own weaknesses and fears. Live a life based on choice and freedom, not personal psychological imprisonment, otherwise you will never be happy.

The spirit glanced at the circle of worshippers, hungry to dominate fresh flesh. They were chanting to a garishly coloured, multi-limbed, grinning idol. Some scratched furiously at the ground, yelping out His name like dogs, while others threw up out of pure elation, coating the ground in vomit. All around, dusty sick-smeared feet jabbed pools of vomit with increasing intensity as the atonal screams hit feverish pitches. The tribe’s excitement was growing to the point where it could no longer be ignored. He knew what was to be done; he had the legal right to perform a new miracle; the door had been opened for him to create a new god.

It’s not the way you look, It’s not the way that you smile. Although there’s something to them. It’s not the way you have your hair, It’s not that certain style; It could be that with you.
If I had a photograph of you, It’s something to remind me. I wouldn’t spend my life just wishing.
It’s not the make-up And it’s not the way that you dance, It’s not the evening sky. It’s more the way your eyes Are laughing as they glance Across the great divide.
If I had a photograph of you, It’s something to remind me. I wouldn’t spend my life just wishing.
It’s not the things you say It’s not the things you do It must be something more And if I feel this way for so long Tell me is it all for nothing Just don’t walk out the door.
If I had a photograph of you, It’s something to remind me. I wouldn’t spend my life just wishing.

I am a Christian woman who married at 28, and would encourage you to reserve sex until marriage. Like many couples who do not have sex until marriage, we had a lot of trouble getting our sex life started. I felt cheated; we had acted according to biblical principles, taken stick from our families and friends, and ended up with a decade of naff sex. We set about turning our sex life around and it is now better than I could have imagined, improves with practice and is a very important part of our relationship.
I have sympathy with your wanting a relationship now, but most Christians will testify that God's timing is his business not ours and that the path of righteousness can feel very lonely.

While visiting my family for the holidays, my 72-year-old father informed me that a 29-year-old
Russian woman was coming to America to be with him. He could hardly contain his
excitement. Dad didn't want me to tell my brother and sister, because he knew
they would be critical of him being with a 29-year-old Russian virgin. He's
correct. They would judge him. But I couldn't care less who he fucks.
I did ask if he had sent this woman any money. He insisted that he had not. Over the next couple
days, I got my father to confess to sending this woman more than $3,000 (he
won't give me the real number). A few days later, he went to the airport to
meet his lovely Russian girlfriend. Obviously, no Russian woman got off the
plane.
I have since had some conversations with my dad about the likelihood that a legitimate 29-year-old
woman—or even a 50-year-old woman—would want to be with a
72-year-old man in bad health. There is nothing exceptional about him. He is
overweight, basically lives on Social Security with enough left in retirement
savings for some luxury in life, has no special talents that would make a much
younger woman attracted to him, i.e., he is not Jack Nicholson, etc. I
encouraged him to think about more age-appropriate partners and did some
Internet searches for him on legit dating websites. He's not interested in
anyone close to his age. Those women are "old," he says. Dad says he's lonely without female companionship. I don't think this is about being lonely. He
works on occasion for my brother, goes out with family and friends. I think it
is about an old man who wants to recapture his youth by being with a younger
woman. Which is fine. But as his son, I feel obligated to protect what little
my father has. He has already been scammed once. We have always had a good
relationship. But he confides in me less now because I "lectured" him about his
Russian girlfriend and the age difference.

You did the right thing completely in looking out for him.
If he refuses to accept reality and has the money to spend, he'd be better off with an asian bride, they have higher values and morals than the Russians. They would just be grateful to live in America adapting to that lifestyle.
It would never be love, but as close as your dad's going to get to it if he wants a younger woman.

I'm a 16-year-old gay boy. I grew up in an evangelical Christian home. Being the intelligent chap I am, I forgot to clear the history off the computer after looking at pornography one day last October. I got yelled at until I cried that night, and again the next morning, and every day for two weeks. I wasn't allowed to use the computer for a year, and I was forced to attend church nightly. The electronics embargo has ended, so I can watch porn again at least, but I've been forced into the closet by my parents. They both ask me every night whether or not I have a girlfriend, whether or not there are any cute girls in my grade, stuff like that. My mom tears up every time I say that I don't have a girlfriend. My dad sends me links to antigay articles that describe homosexuality as unnatural and an abomination. Once I made the mistake of sending an article back to him countering his points about homosexuality and he stormed into my room and broke both my cell phone and MP3 player in half.
What the hell should I do about my parents? Will I ever be able to come out? Or will I have to lie to my parents and wait for them to die?

Now this is the story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute to talk off-stage And tell you how I became the victim of a thing called roid-rage.
In the pro wrestling industry, born and raised, Choking other men is how I spent most of my days. Headbuttin', cross-facin', as a technical king, All while shootin' some steroids outside of the ring. When I got an iPhone, I was up to no good. Skipped a match and flew back to my neighborhood. I took one too many roids, my wife gasped for breath, I said "Stop moving your little ass while I choke you to death!"
I whistled for my son and when he came near, He still had "Fragile-X" and the physique of a queer. If anything I could say that this kid was rare, But I thought "Nah, forget it" and deprived him of air!
I went down to the gym around 7 or 8, And I yelled to myself "Yo Chris, smell ya latah!" Hung myself to death, at a very young age, Now I'm burning in hell, all because of roid-rage.

I am a 19-year-old male with a 4.5-inch cock that has not grown since I was 12. My girlfriend says that it does not penetrate deeply enough. I have already lost two girlfriends because they said the sex wasn't sensational enough. My doctor says I could have surgery, but my girlfriend says I should take pills. I would go with my doctor, but I don't want to have them fuck up my cock.

am an 18-year-old college student. It's been said that college is the time in your life when you can get the most ass. My question: WHERE'S MINE?!?! I'm not some 300-pound Dungeons & Dragons-playing dork. I'm your average 6'2", 135-pound recovering drug addict. There was an article about me in the school paper and my struggle to get clean and how I'm a better person because of it, but no dates came as a result.
I don't know what the problem is with the bitches here at my university. Goddammit, I'm from Long Island where people are normal and not like these goddamn rich bitches on campus here in Buffalo. What the hell is in the water in places like Levittown and Great Neck that makes the women into tube-top-wearing snobs?
